Temple is just on entrance of kelve beach. Big temple of shitladevi. Special entrance access to wheelchairs to reach inside temple. Just in front of temple there is pond having lot of turtles and fishes.. Best place to visit.

Very nice temple very well maintained .Near kelwa beach . Lot of small eateries nearby run by locals selling tea ,bhajiya and vada pav . Nice place to enjoy with family on beach + blessings of maa shitaladevi makes it a wonderful weekend trip just approx 100kms from mumbai. Good connectivity options to and from palghar station and kelva station for those who want to travel by train.
This temple is very clean.you feel peace here.one ram kund is there in front of temple which attract people.this temple is said to be of Ramayana time,this temple is near by kelve beach.accomodation is also available here.booking required in advance but limitation is that only family person get accomodation.temple having also small park. Management is co- operative. basic infrastructure is available.
Blessed place 2 min walking from kelva beach. Very neat and we'll kept it has a pound filled up with turtles and a couple of ducks. It's maintain by locals itself so it's good place to visit with family.i hope kelva beach remains the same has it is simple and sweet without tourist hypes.
It is located near Kelwa Beach. Anyone can reach here from kelwa Road station. Share rickshaw is available at station west side which taje Rs. 15 per person. It is 15 min away from station. Homemade food available near temple at resonable rate. You can also visit nearest Kelwa beach.

Kelva town coasts of a very ancient temple of the Goddess Shitala-Mata. This temple, built in very distant past, underwent a complete renewal and restoration at the hands of a seventhly female ruler Devi Ahilyabai Holkar about three hundred years ago-thereafter, the temple structure had become worn-out and frayed. Some wise and discerning soul in the Kelva town, constituted a Repairs and restoration committee and varied out repairs, renewal and restoration of the old structure in 1986.
A trip to Kelwa-Mahim cannot be considered complete without a visit to this ancient temple. The holiness of the temple along with the cool sea breeze creates a perfect ambiance to rejuvenate the soul of an otherwise busy Mumbaikar.
This temple is more than 300 years old. Located at Mahim in Mumbai,this goddess Shitila Devi is very highly worshiped by Mumbaikar's and especially Mahimkars. There are also temple of Lord Vittal and Goddess Shantadurga. Daily prayers are conducted. Flower and garland vendors stall are found in temple premises. Very holy ambiance.
